When the List Never Ends
What do you do when the work never actually finishes? I found an answer past the midpoint of a race. Most of us grade a day by what we managed to close out, and most days there's more open than closed. That math gets exhausting fast when the work in front of you was never designed to end. There's a steadier way to measure a day well spent, one that has nothing to do with an empty list. This week's Dispatch is about what changed for me, mid-race, and what it's meant for how I show up to work that refuses to finish.
